Hwabongo’s Kwon Jun-hee (167 cm, G) is ready for the weekend league.
The qualifying rounds for the 2024 Korea Basketball Weekend League kicked off on June 15, and the girls’ middle school and high school teams will begin the race in earnest this month.
Hwabongo, which has a total of six players in training this year, including one junior, two seniors and three freshmen, is also in the midst of preparing for the Weekend League. Hwabongo was placed in Group D along with Samcheonpo Girls High School, Dongju Girls High School, and Masan Girls High School in the regional qualifiers for the 사설 토토사이트 Weekend League.
Hwabongo junior Kwon Jun-hee said, “We are doing a lot of physical training and ball exercises to prepare for the weekend league. Kwon Jun-hee started playing basketball in the fourth grade of elementary school. He cites Busan BNK’s Park Hye-jin as his role model. “She has great game management skills, and she has a great three-point shot when it matters. I want to emulate both her offense and defense,” he said, adding that he studies Park’s play.
Finally, Kwon Jun-hee said, “In the last tournament, we were all eliminated in the preliminary round. If we get along well with our teammates and work together as a team, we will have a good result in this weekend’s league. We will solve the team’s difficulties and play solid defense so that we can advance to the King of Kings.”
