Im Seong-jae continued his competition for the top ranks in the third round of the Genesis Scottish Open (total prize money of $9 million) on the US PGA Tour.

Lim Seong-jae shot a 3-under 67 with 5 birdies and 2 bogeys in the 3rd round of the tournament held at the Renaissance Club (par 70, 7,237 yards) in North Berwick, Scotland, UK on the 14th (Korean time).

Seongjae Im, who was tied for third place with 10 under par through the second round, finished tied for fourth place with a combined score of 13 under par and 197 strokes.

With a 17-under 193, he is four strokes behind the sole leader, Ludvig Overi (Sweden), and is in a position to aim for his sixth top-10 finish of the season as well as a come-from-behind win.

Sungjae Im, who has two career PGA Tour wins, has five top-10 finishes this season, with his best finish being a tie for third at last month’s Travelers Championship.

On this day, Im Seong-jae gained momentum early on by making ‘stepping stone birdies’ on the 2nd (par 4), 4th (par 4), and 6th holes (par 3).

He had a bogey on the 7th hole (par 4), but bounced back by hitting his second shot to about 1.5m on the 8th hole (par 4) for a birdie.

In the second half, he was unable to further reduce his score by trading a birdie on the 14th hole (par 3) and a bogey on the 16th hole (par 5).

Kim Joo-hyung and Lee Jung-hwan of the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour both reduced their scores by one stroke in the third round to tie for 43rd place (6-under 204 strokes), while Kim Si-woo finished the third round tied for 67th place (2-under 208 strokes).

Overy, who took the lead with a 6-under par in the second round, reduced his score by five more strokes on the day to stay atop the leaderboard and come close to winning his first PGA Tour title in eight months since his first win at the RSM Classic in November last year.

Robert MacIntyre (Scotland) came in second, two strokes behind (15-under 195), and Adam Scott (Australia) came in third (14-under 196).

Colin Morikawa (USA) is tied for 4th place (13 under par, 197 strokes) with Im Sung-jae and others.

Last year’s winner of the tournament, Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), tied for 8th (12-under 198), followed by Tommy Fleetwood (England) and Cam Davis (Australia) tied for 11th (10-under 200), and Xander Schauffele (USA) tied for 19th (9-under 201). 해외 카지노 사이트
