The Pohang Steelers of the K League 1 announced today that they have signed left fullback Lee Tae-seok (22) from FC Seoul.
Also known as the son of 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup “Four-Star Warrior” Lee Eun-yong, Lee is a “left-footed” left fullback who has represented Korea at all age groups (U-17-U-23).
Lee made his professional debut with Seoul in 2021, earning a starting spot in his first season after making 19 appearances and picking up two assists.
With 89 career K League 1 appearances and four assists to his name, Lee recently made a move to Ulsan HD, but the deal fell through, so he turned his attention to Pohang.
“I wanted to take on a new challenge as a player, and I’m happy to be in Pohang,” said Lee Tae-seok. ”It’s my first move, but there are many familiar players, so I won’t have any difficulty adjusting. I will sacrifice as much as possible and be a helpful player.”
After sending Lee Tae-seok to Pohang, Seoul brought in veteran goalkeeper Kang Hyun-moo (29) from Pohang.
Kang, who joined Pohang in 2015, was recently discharged from Gimcheon Commerce and will be leaving Pohang for the first time.
“I’m confident in everything, not just the buildup,” said Kang, who vowed to ”show a solid performance on the pitch so that the fans don’t have to worry.” 바카라사이트 추천
