The International Olympic Committee IOC says Russia and Belarus will not be sent official invitations to the Paris Olympics.
The IOC has announced that invitations to the Paris Olympics for 203 countries will be sent out on June 26, but Russia and Belarus will not be included.
The IOC had reserved its stance in March, when the Executive Board authorized Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete in Olympic event-specific qualifiers as individuals and as neutrals, saying it would decide at a later date whether athletes from the two countries would be invited to Paris.
