Pohang earned a thrilling victory over Daejeon thanks to Hong Yun-sang, who scored the game-winning goal in his ‘debut’.
Pohang won 4-3 at home against Daejeon in the 27th round of the Hana One Q K League 1 2023 at the Pohang Steel Yard on Tuesday after a hard-fought match that saw seven goals exchanged.
Leading 3-0, Pohang conceded a late equalizer in stoppage time, but Hong Yun-sang scored a dramatic header just before the end of regulation. Hong scored in the 53rd minute.
